“As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the academic, social, and financial barriers to educational success. I am thankful for a supportive social network and a good education, and for what I learned from serving students and the organizations that support them. I am deeply and personally committed to providing opportunities and improving institutions so that all students can realize their potential.”
