Operations Associate - Headquarters & Strategic Initiatives
Summary: This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for increasing student achievement for children across the nation by transforming urban public education systems. This position reports to the deputy director, operations and special projects on the Headquarters and Strategic Initiatives team and will be responsible for bolstering daily operations of The Broad Center. Our mission is to positively impact millions of children by improving K-12 public education. This is a difficult mission and requires the dedication of tireless, creative, smart people who enjoy operating in a fast-paced environment. Deputy Director, Recruitment and Selection - The Broad Academy
Summary: The ideal candidate is strategic and results-oriented, excels at critical thinking, possesses an analytical mindset and has exceptional interpersonal and executive recruiting skills. S/he will have a track record of building quality relationships with senior executives, whether in education or in other fields. Associate Director, Recruitment and Selection - The Broad Residency
Summary: The Associate Director will join a four-person Recruitment and Selection team on the larger fifteen-person Broad Residency team. He/she will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to brand the program, recruit great candidates and assess talent. This will require a strong project management skillset, the ability to connect with various audiences, aptitude for assessing talent, a development orientation and a commitment to the Broad Center’s mission and core values.The Broad Residency is facing an exciting inflection point. Last year, the Residency launched its largest cohort of Residents and will continue to grow its cohorts even further in future years. This growth phase will present new opportunities to have an even greater impact in the education sector and will require new strategies to maintain exceptional quality along the way. Managing Director - The Broad Residency
Summary: In addition to joining The Broad Center’s senior leadership, the Managing Director will lead the overall strategy and management of The Broad Residency and its high-performing, highly dedicated team. This impactful and far-reaching MD will assist in the recruitment and selection of talented and passionate systems-level education leaders in and outside of the field, the identification of supervisors and roles where they can both grow and make an impact, and deliver cutting edge coaching, curriculum and support to those leaders during the Residency and beyond.This is an extraordinary position for a leader who is passionate about the role that outstanding leadership and management plays in improving public education and who possesses the ability and expertise to read the broader landscape and connect meaningful content with real-time challenges that leaders (most of whom are new to K-12 public education) are facing in their work. This will require a strong strategic mindset, a collaborative orientation, a dedication to continuous improvement, sensibilities around adult learning and, above all, a commitment to the Broad Center’s mission and core values.
