The Broad Residency 2018-2020
As a product of Chicago Public Schools, I know firsthand the incredible difference an education can play in someone's life. I am excited to do what I can to provide others with similar opportunities by working in public education and am thrilled to do so as a Broad Resident.
Araceli Ortiz is the leadership development program manager at Chicago Public Schools, responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation and evaluation of leadership development programs across the district. Before joining The Broad Residency, Araceli was head of marketing for Stanford Athletics, responsible for managing the Stanford Athletics brand, setting the marketing strategies and overseeing the licensing for Stanford Athletics. A native of Chicago, Araceli previously worked at Pac-12 Networks and the United States Golf Association. A former four-year member of Stanford’s rowing program, Araceli graduated with an undergraduate degree in international relations and a minor in Portuguese.
