A graduate of New York City Public Schools and a former history teacher in Brooklyn, Brett Peiser is chief executive officer of Uncommon Schools, one of the nation’s highest performing public charter school networks. Before joining Uncommon, Brett founded Boston Collegiate Charter School, one of Massachusetts’ highest performing public schools. In fact, in Brett’s last four years as principal and executive director, Boston Collegiate was the only public school in the city of Boston with 100 percent of 10th graders passing both the English and mathematics portions of the state assessment.
