The Broad Residency 2018-2020

As a student, I was fortunate to have inspirational teachers and leaders throughout my educational career to push me to reach my fullest potential. As a teacher, I learned just how hard it is to be that transformative educator when resources, preparation and opportunities for professional development are limited and insufficient. The contrast of my experiences in public education have led me to devote my career to building and maintaining systems and structures for schools that prioritize serving all students.

Jordan Huller is currently the director of human resources & talent at Prospect Schools where he oversees recruitment, hiring & selection and performance management. Before joining The Broad Residency, Jordan supported strategic recruitment and human resources efforts at Explore Schools in Brooklyn. Prior to that, he also helped to found and grow an elementary school as an operations manager in Crown Heights, also with Explore Schools. Jordan’s career in education began when he joined Teach for America as an elementary special education teacher in Delaware. Jordan received his bachelor’s degree in psychology & communications from the University of California, Davis and his master’s degree in education from Wilmington University.
