The Broad Residency 2019-2021
During a college course on urban education reform, I came to realize that structural inequity often inhibits hard-working, dedicated students from realizing their potential. Since then, I have been on a journey that has reinforced my passion for leveling the playing field for all students to use education as a ladder for upward mobility. I believe that everyone deserves the same opportunity to achieve the American dream, not just a select few. While it takes the strength of a community to combat institutional inequity, I want to do everything in my power to enable every child to turn their dreams into reality.
