Three-Phase Selection Process
1. Phone Interview
We begin with a 60-minute telephone interview. When this call is scheduled, we ask candidates to submit a professional resume detailing their career history and accomplishments.
We make advancement decisions within two weeks of this conversation.
2. Virtual Interview and Impact Submission
Select candidates are advanced to a 90-minute virtual interview during which they will share a brief impact presentation. Candidates will be asked to submit their materials in advance.

3. In-Person Interview
We invite select candidates to participate in a full day of in-person interviews with Broad Academy team members and alumni. This also is a chance to meet and learn from other candidates. The interviews are held in Los Angeles, and the Academy covers expenses for travel and accommodations for these interviews.
We notify candidates of any next steps two to four weeks after this interview.
